The Faculty of Physical Education and Recreation’s Urban Uprising Climbing Complex is thrilled to host the 2008 MEC Tour de Bloc Nationals May 17 and 18.
Competitive Climbing will take centre stage as climbers from across Canada and the USA compete for top honors as well as a berth on Canada's national climbing team.
This grassroots bouldering competition welcomes climbers of all abilities, from recreational to seasoned competitors.
If you’re planning on attending the MEC Tour de Bloc Nationals in Edmonton on May 17-18 please remember to pre-register for the event. Registration for Open competitors close on May 13. No Open registrations will be accepted after this date. Rec and Experienced competitors will be allowed to sign up until the day of the comp.

Saturday, May 17th:
11-12pm: Open competitor sign-in
12-3pm: Open Qualifiers for both male and female divisions
climbers must be in iso at least a 1/2 hour before their climb time
3:45-5:15pm: CEC Generel Meeting
Sunday, May 18th:
9-10am: Rec. and Exp. competitor sign-in
10-1:30pm: Rec. and Exp. Boulder Scramble
2-4pm: Bar-B-Que
4-7:30pm: Open Finals for both male and female divisions
Finalists must be in isolation before 3:30pm
8-9pm: Award Ceremony and the announcement of the Canadian National Team
9-12am: After Party!
